This class is designed to further develop your basic Latte Art skills to the next level. When you already know how to control the pour to do a heart pattern (which we teach in the Two Day Barista class) you can begin to develop skills to do more advanced patterns such as a Tulip, Rosetta, or maybe even a Swan!
Develop your skills from pouring Heart’s to pouring a Tulip’s and beyond
Pouring Latte Art is easy when you have a specific micro-foam volume and texture, in this class you will learn how to create the perfect milk to micro-foam ratio. But you also need good wrist and elbow coordination, as well as precise control of the milk flow-rate, which requires guidance and enough time to practice.
This is the Science of Latte Art
There are 2 methods used for creating Latte Art: 1) Etching & 2) Free-pour. The Etching method is very simple to create and requires little to no skill. The more commonly used method is the Free-pour method which is significantly harder to learn but is a far more effective method overall because you have to pour the milk into the cup to create the beverage, so if you can poor a pattern while doing so it makes for very efficient workflow.
