What these sessions are
Focused practice—not another full barista course.
Students arrive with foundational espresso and milk-texturing ability. Each session concentrates on one appropriate stage of pattern development. The trainer observes the pour, identifies the limiting control and gives the student repeated opportunities to adjust. The objective is better control, stronger understanding and a clear next practice goal.
These sessions are not
Not beginner espresso-machine induction. Not a replacement for Barista Fundamentals. Not a certificate program. Not a promise that a pattern will be mastered in one session.

Love Heart → Tulip / Rosetta → choose an advanced pattern
This is recommended progression, not a mandatory certification pathway. An experienced barista may enter at the appropriate level when they already have equivalent control.

Build the milk texture, cup position, flow control and symmetry behind the foundational love-heart pour. Practise with direct feedback and leave understanding what to work on next.
- Recommended after Two-Day Barista Fundamentals, or equivalent ability to texture milk and prepare espresso independently.
- For people who can produce microfoam but cannot yet pour a controlled, repeatable heart.
- Love Heart is not a substitute for a complete beginner barista course.

Pattern development
Tulip / Rosetta

Move beyond the heart into the control needed for tulip layering or rosetta movement. Coaching focuses on the pattern and correction most useful for your current pour. This session does not promise mastery of both patterns in 2.5 hours.

Advanced pattern
Swan

Develop the coordinated flow, placement and directional control needed to construct a swan, with close observation and correction throughout the practice session.

A flexible coached-practice loop
Individual emphasis changes according to current ability and the selected pattern. Students do not receive identical pours, identical outcomes or a rigid mini-curriculum.
- Confirm the goal
Confirm the student’s pattern goal and current control.
- Review the pour
Review milk texture, cup position, flow and movement relevant to the pattern.
- Clarify the movement
Demonstrate or clarify the key movement where appropriate.
- Practise with observation
The student practises repeatedly with direct observation.
- Review the correction
Taste or review where relevant and identify the main correction.
- Leave with a next step
Finish with a personal next-practice goal.
Why capacity changes
Six for the foundation. Two when the pattern gets finer.
Love Heart is the shared foundation and can be coached effectively in a small group of up to six. Later patterns require much closer observation of timing, movement, flow and pattern construction, so they are capped at two. Capacity is a delivery fact, not a pressure tactic.

Before you choose a session
Can a complete beginner join?
No. These sessions are for people who can already texture milk and prepare espresso independently. If you cannot yet do that, start with Two-Day Barista Fundamentals. Love Heart is the foundation pattern session, not a substitute for a complete beginner barista course.
Do I have to complete every pattern in order?
No. Progression is recommended, not compulsory. An experienced barista may enter at the appropriate level when they already have equivalent control. If you are unsure, ask us on WhatsApp.
What if I trained somewhere else?
Ask us on WhatsApp. We can help confirm whether Love Heart, Tulip / Rosetta or an advanced pattern is the right next session.
Are coffee and milk included?
Yes. Every session includes coffee, milk, use of professional espresso equipment and trainer-led coached practice.
How many students are in each session?
Love Heart has a maximum of 6 participants. Tulip / Rosetta, Swan, Winged Tulip and Seahorse are each capped at 2 participants.
Will I master the pattern in 2.5 hours?
No. The product is focused coached development: practice, correction and a clearer path forward. We do not promise mastery of an advanced pattern in 2.5 hours.
Do I receive a certificate?
No. These sessions do not include a completion certificate.
